CARRIER: Our default shipping method is STANDARD SHIPPING. With STANDARD SHIPPING Ethical Planet will choose how to ship your items. We will ship either Post Office Priority Mail, Fedex Ground or UPS Ground. You also have the option to choose UPS Next Day or 2nd Day these are real time rates from UPS based on weight and location.

If you choose Next Day or 2nd Day Shipping and you place your order Friday after 3:00PM or on the weekend your package will ship on Monday. Next Day will then deliver on Tuesday and 2nd Day will deliver on Wednesday.

Tracking is available with all UPS orders. We will also include tracking if we ship your order FedeEx Ground Home Delivery.

Priority Mail, FedeEx Ground Home Delivery and UPS Ground usually takes 1-5 days depending on location.

At this time we ship anywhere in the continental U.S. Alaska & Hawaii. We do our best to ship all credit card orders the same day or by the end of the following business day.

Shipping to a P.O. Box will be sent via the US Postal Service.

TAX: Illinois residents will be charged 9% sales tax. We have to - it's the law :-)

RETURNS: Please email us at returns@ethicalplanet.com prior to returning any items so that we can issue you a Return Authorization. Returns can not be credited without approvel from our office. We will gracefully accept returns for credit or exchanges on most items up to 21 days after the shipping date. Exceptions are food, opened cosmetics, bath and body care products, books, sale items, and any item that is not in new condition. Items must be returned within 30 days of the shipping date or we cannot issue credit. All returns and exchanges must be returned and sealed in their original packaging.

Shoe returns can only be accepted if they are returned in unworn, new condition, in the original packaging for resale. If they arrive in less than perfect resalable condition, Ethical Planet reserves the right to not issue a credit or exchange. We will return them back to you at your expense. The exception to this would be a manufacturer defect in which case we will work with you and the manufacturer to replace or repair defective shoes.

CREDITS: We will credit your account within 7 business days of receipt of returned items. Allow up to 25 days for your refund to be processed.
Shipping charges are not refundable. When you return an item you must cover the cost of the return to Ethical Planet unless something was shipped to you in error.

IN WARM WEATHER: During the warm weather months chocolate, cookies, lip balm and other items may melt when shipped to warm climates. We recommend overnight shipping options to reduce the risk of melting under these conditions.

As a friendly reminder Ethical Planet is not responsible for melted items, nor do we offer returns, refunds or exchanges for melted items.

PACKAGING: Because we are committed to a healthy environment, Ethical Planet may reuse packing from other sources including styrofoam peanuts or bubble wrap. Please reuse or recycle packing material.
